I am Jacquelynn Harris and I love string.  Any kind of string that doesn't break when I work with it.

Who is Blossom?

She is my sweet lovable cat that you see all over my websites.
In memory of Blossom who passed away in August 2014.  I miss you a lot.  You will forever be in my heart.
FAQ- Some questions and answers you might want to know.
Q. is the metal used in the bracelets nickel free?

A: Some of it is.  If you want to order an item that is nickel free, let me know.  If it has nickel, I'll remake it without nickel.  Lately, I have been looking for nickel free metals since a lot of people are allergic to nickel (including myself).

Q. What kind of materials are the string the bracelets are made out of?

A. Mostly cotton.  Sometimes acrylic and occasionally polyester.  I am considering using rayon as well.

Q. On the main page, there is a mention of changing the website name.  How is that going?

A. Update: The new name is Knottalynn's and I am working on a new website to reflect the new name and new art I am selling.  This site will still be up and running as I still have some of my older pieces left.  I am making changes to reflect some things I am no longer offering, but can still make if ordered.

Q. Why isn't the website updated often?

A. This website might not be updated anymore.  For the 10th anniversary of Blossom of Darkness (in 2021), I have decided on changing the name to KnottaLynn's.  The new website is knottalynns.webstarts.com .  I am currently moving things over to that site as the name "Blossom of Darkness" doesn't quite suit what I make.  Blossom is longer around and it is time to change to a more suitable name as the name was suppose to be a place holder as I messed around to try to figure out how I wanted to run things.  New changes will be happening in 2022 as I finalize my new name and will be having my art sold in a store again.

Q. Who is Blossom?

A. Blossom was a cat who became one of my best friends.  She and I grew up together.  There is so much about her that I could tell, but I'll only say a couple of things since I could list off a ton of things on why she was amazing.  She use to have her own chair.  A small blue recliner.  When I outgrew it, my parents were going to throw it away, but when they realized she was always sitting in it, they kept it.  She use to sit in that chair almost like a human.  She'd sit there with her arms resting on one of the arm rests.  I'll have to post a picture of her in that pose.  She use to do it all the time except for the last couple of years of her life.  Sadly, the pictures of her I can access easily are from that time through now, so when I do find a good picture, I will post it.  I need to post it to show all of you.
She use to get mad at me for leaving, even if it was just for a few hours.  When I would come home, she would be on my bed with a look saying, "WHERE WERE YOU?".  If I was doing homework or paying attention to something other then her, she would lay on it.  Just plop herself down on whatever I was looking at.  I had to establish a rule called, "No kitties on the laptop". This rule still applies today.  She also liked to keep everyone clean and bathe everyone with her tongue.  Over time, her sandpapery tongue became soft bumps.  In the last few years of her life, she looked after two kittens.  She didn't like new cats in the family until Thorn and her sister, Rose forced her to be their friend/mommy cat.  These two were born on our porch.  When their mom, Maddie, passed away, we raised the two surviving kittens from her litter.  Thorn wanted to make Blossom her friend regardless what Blossom thought of her.  So, before long, Blossom, Thorn, and Rose could be found on my bed on an usual basis.  I miss all three of them.
